      In answer to your question “why you are saying to chase god” I mean that in a positive way. To chase, go after, follow God with all that you have. To make Him the focus of your life, mind, heart, thoughts, actions, feelings, everything. Much like David said in Psalm 63.
      It is sometimes easy to get sidetracked with things like rebuking the Devil or chasing demons (chasing away demons).

      Ps 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee:

      Ps 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

      2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

      4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
